Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman in business. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California and grew up an heir to a prestigious family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and went on to own the Lakers and various other sports organizations. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 She began feeling in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. When she was 19 years old, she was appointed the General Manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. Then she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was president of the Great Western Forum before assuming the role of vice president of the Lakers. Her father died in 2013, and the ownership of the Lakers was inherited by Buss as well as her siblings through a family trust with each sibling having equal voting rights. She assumed the office of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-founder of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion headquartered at Los Angeles.
