Annika Charlotta Sorenstam is an Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as one of the top female golfers in history. Annika Sorenstam was the winner of more than 90 international professional golf championships prior to her retirement at the end of 2008's season. After securing around 90 international competitions, she was acclaimed as the top female golfer in history. Annika has been a winner of 72 LPGA and ten Major tournaments. She has also won 18 more tournaments all over the world. Annika was a 9th October 1970 born girl and is due to celebrate her 50th birthday in the year 2020. Her parents were Tom Gunilla and Tom Gunilla. Tom is a former IBM executive and her mother worked at a bank. She is also a professional golfer and coach at Annika's Academy. Her sisters both made 1 million on LPGA. Mike McGee married her and the couple have two daughters named Madelyn McGee and Madelyn. Annika McGee was married to Mike on the 10th of January 2009. Annika is a natural golfer, has been a pro in this sport from her early years. Annika was an international junior tennis and soccer player. The ability she had to ski which brought her family members to Sweden in the year 1994, where she continued to play the sport with a professional. She was the first professional to take home the ALPG tour in Australia and also qualified for the 1994 LPGA Finale. She made three of the top 3 finishes, and was awarded the LPGA rookie of the year. Annika was the first non-American to win the Vare trophy. She won in the US Women Open in 1995. She was only non American to win the Vare award. Annika was also 1 on the Money List. Annika decided not to play in the 2008 season. That night she pitched the first pitch of baseball during the match. The most recent win on tour was in the playoff in the Suzhou Taihu lady's open.
